EMIS Workshop Concluded
Workshop Concluded
A two days EMIS (Education Management Information System) workshop organized by University Grants Commission UGC) for the development of ‘Statistical Data Form, 2010’ concluded in UGC Seminar hall on Tuesday, 1st February, 2011.
The workshop themed by EMIS section under Second Higher Education Project was organized by UGC. The Principals and Focal Points for EMIS form from thirty-nine community colleges of Kathmandu valley participated in the two days workshop.
Delivering the concluding remarks, Chief Administrator of UGC, Mr. Subash Chandra Dhungel focused on the importance of EMIS for the development of higher education and thanked all the participants for taking part on the workshop. Prof. Dr. Hridaya Ratna Bajracharya, Technical Advisor, SHEP, said that it is important to have information system for the development of colleges and urged to update all the information or data regarding the colleges.
UGC is now developing the ‘Statistical Data Form, 2010’ for collecting the data from the community colleges in the country. The feedbacks and inputs from the participants will be adapted on the data form.
